Chicks

Brood of Chicks is a collective of female freelancers — and friends — who do great work individually, but also love to collaborate on cool projects with cool clients. Together we can act as an agency or work as individual freelancers.

The logo and subsequent branding combine the wacky qualities we all share while embracing our diverse skills. Overlayed shapes building on one another represents how we support each other. Egg characters create individuality while sharing the same base. And the colors are bright and cheery mirroring each personality. 

Forming the group

It starts with
a name

The team wanted to highlight weird animal group names, like a gaggle of geese or a murder of crows. Brood of chicks was an apt title for a collective of independent women.
